| Thank you for visiting my page and considering a donation! I was diagnosed over 16 years ago with Crohn's disease when I was 11 years old. Over the years it has been a constant battle with flare ups, complications and medications. Through it all I was able to graduate college with an Education degree in Math, Health and Dance. Although I really enjoy teaching, my favorite thing during college was volunteering at Camp Oasis, a camp for kids with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. After I graduated a position opened up at the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation (CCFA) - Minnesota/Dakotas Chapter and I knew this was the place for me! I started as the Administrative Assistant and am currently the Development Coordinator. The events I work on are Camp Oasis, the Evening of Hope, the Mark Rosen Morrie's Cadillac Invitational and Patient/Professional Education. I have the opportunity to meet a lot of amazing people affected by IBD and hear their stories. I can't wait until all of the stories can end with a cure!
Thank you very much for your donation! |
