| The Queen's Team is very excited about participating in the 20th Annual Lupus Loop on October 30th. It is going to be another great day!!As some of you may know the Lupus Loop is a 5K Run or Walk held in Fairmont Park and the monies raised benefit the Lupus Foundation of America, SE PA Chapter. The Lupus Loop is a part of a nation-wide series of walks / events that raise awareness and funds to fight lupus.
This will be our eleventh year participating in the walk. Our family goal is to raise $ 1500.00. For every $300.00, a sign will be put along the route in memory of Christine’s mother, Kathleen Dowd, who passed away twelve years ago from Lupus.
The mission of the Lupus Foundation is to educate and support those affected by Lupus and to find the cure. If you are interested in learning more about Lupus or the Lupus Loop please check out this website: www.lupus-sepa.org.
