Help Carry the Light of Hope

It's been over two years...

Welcome to my Light The Night Walk homepage.

April 30th 2005 I was diagnosed with AML. My friends and family along with countless strangers and well wishers rallied together and raised money and prayers to help me with my journey. The experience was not only humbling but frighteningly nessasary. Without the support of all these kind folks, I’m not sure I would have came out in very good shape. I was able to keep my house and most of my financial responsibilities current. Most importantly, I was able to have the medical care needed to put me in remission and hopefully keep me here. Five years ago, this momentous task would not have been as “easy” and I can only imagine how much better the care (hopefully cure) will be in five years to come.

It is my turn to give back. I am doing what I can to help the cause. Help me help our future! Please donate today. If you can’t donate, why not sign up to do a walk in your area? If you can’t do either, surely you can forward this site along to your friends and family.

Did you know that:

  • Every five minutes, someone in this country is diagnosed with blood cancer: Every ten minutes, someone loses the fight.
  • Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children.
  • Lymphomas are the most common blood cancers.
  • The myeloma survival rate is only 32 percent.

Please make a donation to support my participation in the Light The Night Walk. By doing so, we’ll both be helping save lives. Be sure to check my Web site frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!
