Chemo makes me grumpy!
Plain and simple, I'm raising money to find a cure for cancer in honor of my hero, my son Nate. In July '06 he finished 2 1/2 years of chemotherapy treating acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He has done very well, but it has been a long journey. Better treatments, less costly cures (in terms of side-effects, long term effects), and higher cure rates are needed. I'm saddened by the children we've met that have lost their battle, but bolstered by their memory. And for all the children still fighting, or moving past treatment and on with their lives, I honor their achievement.
