Help Tasha wash away cancer

Your support means a lot…to me and to thousands of others.

HI! I am Tasha, and I am 5 years old! I am walking in honor of my buddy Ethan who had "fuzzy cells" in his body called leukemia. He just finished up treatment. I keep telling my mommy that Ethan and I are going to get married!

This is me at the Man Women and Celebrity of the year gala last year where I met Ethan. This will be my fourth year "Lighting the Night" for our team, Friends of Heroes. This year, I helped our two Norther Nevada Celebrities of the year (for the LLS) by earning $200 to their campaign by selling my soaps.

Please help me raise my own goal of $1000 (Yes, I told my mommy that I wanted to raise $1000!) My team is Friends of Heroes and they help raise awareness about childhood cancer. Friendsofheroes.org has a bunch of information for you. I am making soaps, so if you donate, you will get a gift in the mail too! I have sold them NATION WIDE, ANY donation will get a bar of my famous soap! Check out my side show at the bottom of this page. They come in gift packaging with a ribbon tied all by me!!! I make these soaps in honor of my friends with cancer. I LOVE making soap!

To order soaps, make a donation of any amount by clicking the donate button on the right hand side. I like to make personal soaps just for you! If you have any special requests, such as scents or colors, please e-mail us at Reno@friendsofheroes.org after you donate. I make bath fizzies too! My mommy will e-mail you after we get the donation notice and find out what you like and don't like so that I can design the soaps to how I think you would like them.

Light The Night is the nation’s night to pay tribute and bring hope to thousands of patients battling blood cancers and to commemorate loved ones lost.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) funds lifesaving cancer research that has contributed to major advances in the treatment of blood cancers and many other types of cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy and stem cell transplants, that have helped patients live better, longer lives. New targeted therapies that kill cancer cells without harming normal tissue are providing drugs and procedures that are improving the quality of life.

But more research is critically needed:

  • Every five minutes someone is diagnosed with blood cancer. Every 10 minutes, someone dies.
  • Leukemia causes more deaths among children than any other cancer.
  • Nearly 20,000 Americans died from lymphoma in 2007.
  • The survival rate for myeloma is just 34 percent.

Please make a donation to support my participation in the Light The Night Walk and help save lives. Be sure to check my Web site frequently to see my progress, and thanks for your support!
