Your support means a lot…to me & all my friends who have lost the fight!!
I'm Ty, and I am from Barstow California. I moved to Southaven MS on July 15th,2006 and was diagnosed with Leukemia type (AML) 5 days later. My house is only 20 minutes from St. Jude Childrens Hospital in Memphis TN (boy am I lucky). I HAD A BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT ON NOV 9TH, 2006 FROM MY LIL' SISTER SAM & AM DOING GREAT! CANCER FREE & GETTING STRONGER! PRAISE THE GOOD LORD!
Thanks for visiting my Light The Night Walk homepage. Light The Night is the nation’s night to pay tribute and bring hope to thousands of patients battling blood cancers and to commemorate loved ones lost. I have LOST lots of friends to leukemia! I am so proud to walk in memory of them!
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) funds lifesaving cancer research that has contributed to major advances in the treatment of blood cancers and many other types of cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy and stem cell transplants, that have helped patients live better, longer lives. New targeted therapies that kill cancer cells without harming normal tissue are providing drugs and procedures that are improving the quality of life.
