Help Mickey and others like her win the race against blood cancers!
Hello! It's that time of year again. Time for Light the Night. Our family will be walking for the 3rd year. This is the first year for Mickey's Mousketeers, however. Yep, Mickey has a LTN team named for her. How cool is that!
We are walking to help the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society fulfill its mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. The statistics are staggering. Every 5 minutes someone in the US is diagnosed with a blood cancer. Every 10 minutes, someone dies from a blood cancer. Leukemia is the number one disease killer of children and young adults under the age of 20.
