Thank you for your help in making our 2007 Light The Night Walk a success. Last year in Fort Lauderdale, 1,800 caring people illuminated the night with red, white and gold balloons, joining The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, in our relentless pursuit of a Cure of Blood Cancers. This year the Fort Lauderdale Walk will again be held at Huizenga Plaza Saturday evening October 25th in beautiful downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Last year the South Florida Walks raised over $600,000. Those of you who joined Team CBC that evening know what a great experience it was.

As Volunteer Coordinator for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society I can see how much our $$ help with Blood Cancer Patients and Families. Last year the Society awarded $65 million in research grants, bringing the total of grants to over $660 million since its inception. The Society also provides patient education and support services and last year the Society made over five million contacts with patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals.

This year I am again asking for your help in this fight against Cancer. Please join me and our Team CBC (Curing Blood Cancers) on October 25th to help find a CURE.
