Light the Night is an annual event to help raise money to win the battle against blood cancers. The walk is a three mile (slow) walk, staring at Centennial Olympic Park and continuing on through downtown. This is a time to raise money but also to support, honor, and remember the people that have had cancer touch their lives.

Not only have Kristen and I been chosen to be honored heroes for the Atlanta Chapter, we share this special privilege with two children that have been affected by a type of blood cancer too! We would be so honored to have you walk with us this year as a supporter to fight cancer. You can walk in honor of someone who is currently battling cancer, in memory of a loved one who battled cancer, or you can walk to help raise awareness and find a cure for cancer!

My sister and I have created at team called "McClain Sisters" (creative name right!) If you would like to join our team in the Light the Night event, please click the link to the left titled REGISTER TO WALK, once there search for our team (make sure to change the search to TEAM NAME and then look for McClain Sisters) and join our team.

In addition, if you want you can donate to the cause (you DO NOT have to donate to walk), if you would like to donate click on the link to the right that says DONATE. Oh don't forget, since you will be a member of the "McClain Sisters Team" you will get to help kick off the walk and lead thousands of people in a walk united against cancer.

Please feel free to pass this along to your friends, family, co-workers, dry cleaner, doctor, hair stylist, or ANYBODY!! They can join our team, make their own team, or just register as an individual walker.

Please note: Hunter (the toy poodle) will be walking along with us.... you don't want to miss that! If you have a pet they are welcome to join in the walk as well.

We will meet at 6:00pm in/near the Reflections of L.I.F.E. area, which will have inspirational messages in honor/memory of those who have fought this disease. You will also be able to see poetry submitted by both Kristen and I (no laughing). If you can’t find us give us a call on cell 770-315-6748 so we can meet up before the walk.
