My sister Marys' son Chancellor was diagnosed with Congenital Nephrotic Syndrome, Finnish Type at 2 months old. After enduring a shaky first year of hospitalization (but under the greatest care of Dr. Dilys Whyte and Dr. Ivy Boydstun), CHANCELLOR HAD A KIDNEY TRANSPLANT AT 14 MONTHS OLD! Thanks to his very brave and courageous Aunt Colleen, Chancellor was given an opportunity to enjoy life. Unfortunately, THERE IS NO CURE for Nephrotic Syndrome and Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). Kidney transplants only last 10-15 years. With your donation, you are helping The Nephcure Foundation support research seeking the cause of Nephrotic Syndrome and FSGS, improve treatment and find a cure! The NephCure Foundation is the only organization solely committed to seeking a cause and cure for two potentially devastating kidney diseases, Nephrotic Syndrome and Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS).
