Welcome to my Hudson River Swim For LifeTM
On September 10, 2006, I will be braving the Hudson and swimming with hundreds of people in The Hudson River Swim For Life®. This is a 3-mile swim from Piermont to Irvington in the Hudson River. This swim will be a challenging, yet rewarding experience.
The Hudson River Swim For Life has been created to raise awareness of the Hudson River, promote swimming as a life long form of fitness, and raise funds for the ongoing work of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, in conjunction with Friends of Claire, Project ALS and the YMCA in Tarrytown, NY. While I'm training, I'm raising funds to help the Society cure leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. More than 712,000 Americans are battling these blood cancers. Your support of my participation in the Hudson River Swim For Life will help bring them hope and support.
