Hello! As you may or may not know, I am running the Boston Marathon to help save lives via Run for Research. On April 21, 2008, I will be dedicating my sweat and blood on a 26.2 mile run to raise money for the American Liver Foundation!
The American Liver Foundation is an important group that funds research to fight liver disease. It also helps raise awareness about the various kinds of liver diseases that can cause serious harm to an individual if gone untreated. Your donation will help in the fight against major liver diseases like liver cancer, hepatitis, and cirrhosis. Your funds will also aid in the fight against rarer genetic diseases like Reye syndrome, Wilson disease, and hemochromatosis. One of these diseases, hemochromatosis, runs in my family.
To learn more about the American Liver Foundation, its New England chapter, and the research that the American Liver Foundation funds, please visit http://www.liverfoundation.org/chapters/newengland/.
Please donate as much as you can. Every little bit will help in the fight against liver disease. If you need donation suggestions, just think about how much you spend on coffee in a week. As an added incentive, if you donate over $75, you will be entered into a raffle to win 1 of 10 autographed photos of me running!!!
To donate, use the VeriSign Secured link on this page. You can also write a check made out to the American Liver Foundation. Put "Andrew Bouley" in the memo/notes of the check, and send the check to my address at:
49 Gardena St.
Apt. #2;
Brighton, MA 02135.
Thank you for your generous donations and support!!! Please forward this link to anyone that may want to support my cause. |
