Energy2Cure is a Houston-based association of professionals from the national energy industry that raises funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in conjunction with the annual Leukemia Cup Regatta. E2C's goal for the 2006 fundraising campaign is $100,000.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services.

Did you know that:

- Every five minutes, someone in this country is diagnosed with blood cancer. Every ten minutes, someone dies.
- Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children and young people under age 20.
- Lymphomas are the most common blood cancers.
- The myeloma survival rate is only 32 percent.
