| Welcome to our Leukemia Cup Regatta home page. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services.
Were are participating in the Regatta in honor of more than 712,000 Americans who are battling blood cancers. Our father, Delbert Clow, died in 1998 of Leukemia. These people are the real heroes and we need your support to help accelerate cures and provide hope and support for patients and their families. Did you know that:
- Every five minutes, someone in this country is diagnosed with blood cancer. Every ten minutes, someone dies.
- Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children and young people under age 20.
- Lymphomas are the most common blood cancers.
- The myeloma survival rate is only 32 percent.
Please make a donation to support our participation in the NSSC Leukemia Cup Regatta . By doing so, we’ll both be helping save lives. I hope you'll visit our Web site often to check in and see how my fundraising is going.
Thanks for your support, Michael & Kathy |
