| Welcome to my Leukemia Cup Regatta home page. I'm participating in the 3rd annual Leukemia Cup Regatta at Northstar Sail Club on October 5th, 2008, in memory of my late husband Barry. He lost his life due to Leukemia, for which he fought. And lets not forget the 823,000 Americans who are still battling the blood cancers. These people are real heroes and we need your support to help accelerate cures and provide hope and support for patients and their families. Did you know that:
- Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children and young people under age 20.
- Lymphomas are the most common blood cancers.
- The myeloma survival rate is only 34 percent.

As the phrase says "every picture tells a story". Well, this picture tell us Barry is enjoying living life to the fullest by doing what he loved to do, SAIL.
It was Barry who taught and introduced me to sailing. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have met such great friends through sailing. And I wouldn't be here supporting a great cause like the Leukemia Cup Regatta.
