FACTS:
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated
This is the 14th Annual Leukemia Cup Regatta in honor of more than 823,000 Americans who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes and we need your support to help accelerate cures and provide hope and support for patients and their families. Did you know that:
o Every five minutes, someone in this country is diagnosed with blood cancer. Every ten minutes, someone dies.
o Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children and young people under age 20.
o Lymphomas are the most common blood cancers.
o The myeloma survival rate is only 34 percent.
Please make a donation to support my participation in the Leukemia Cup Regatta. By doing so, we’ll both be helping save lives. I hope you'll visit my Web site often to check in and see how my fundraising is going.
Thanks again for your support! |
