| We are racing in the 2007 Leukemia Cup again this year, in hopes of raising money for a worthy cause and to possibly add another 1st place finish for Team Chums. Last year we were successful in raising almost $1,600, and as a bonus we took 1st place in the boat races. This year’s race is on the weekend of January 13th-14th at Lake Pleasant. The primary purpose of this regatta is to raise money for the Leukemia Society; as such, we are looking for donations...

- Every five minutes, someone in this country is diagnosed with blood cancer. Every ten minutes, someone dies.
- Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children and young people under age 20.
- Lymphomas are the most common blood cancers.
