| Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to support the tour. Le Tour de Femme was started with two very important goals in mind. First, and foremost is to raise money to support the Lance Armstrong Foundations mission to fund efforts in cancer research, cancer education and cancer survivorship, as well as to fund Rex Hospital’s Angel Fund. The Angel fund was started from an endowment form the Susan G. Komen Foundations and helps breast cancer, as well as other forms of cancer patients, with special financial needs as they are undergoing treatment for cancer. Secondly, is to promote the wonderful sport of cycling to women. |
