Leila and Charlotte's 3rd Annual CureDuchenne Soccer Tournament |
|
Please come and help us make a difference in the lives of thousands of boys worldwide.
The horrible disease, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, affects many boys all over the world. The effects of Duchenne muscular dystrophy include the loss of the luxury to move around freely. Imagine not living with this luxury of free movement. That is why it is our goal to make a difference for these young boys who are affected by this disease. Please come, and help us make a difference.
This year, we are going to host our 3rd annual three vs. three soccer tournament to raise money for the foundation, CureDuchenne. The goal of this foundation is to raise money to find a cure for this disease. All the money raised at our soccer tournament will go to finding a cure for Duchenne. Last year, we raised $10,000, and it’s our goal this year to make even more … but we can only do this with your help.
The soccer tournament will be three vs. three, just for fun! There will be a bake sale, food, games and fun! Everybody is welcome to play from ages 5 and up.
I am Leila Pozin, a 9th grader at Corona del Mar High School. And I am Charlotte, an 8th grader at Harbor Day School. We really want to make a difference, and help save the lives of boys all over, so please help us make headway on finding a cure for this disease. Thank you.
