| Relay For Life/American Cancer Society
My Reason to Relay is to join my friends and family and raise as much money that we can to make a difference in all of our lives.
We have ALL been impacted in some way with cancer. In the last year alone I have lost family members to cancer and have several friends and family that have been diagnosed with cancer and are currently undergoing treatment. They are of all different age ranges starting at age 2!
My best friend Tracy Harnly, the founder of Team Perseverance, is a 5-year Stage IV breast cancer SURVIVOR! She has overcome so many obstacles in her life and is still fighting and overcoming every obstacle that is being thrown at her! Everyone of these people have changed my life forever....so in return I have decided to make a life long goal to do everything I can to help in this huge fight against cancer! The money that we raise today has such a huge impact on cancer victims today and in the future. The research that goes on now could not only change mine and your lives someday but also our childrens! It is so important to fundraise so they can continue the reasearch that is needed to find a cure and keep finding different medications to help fight this deadly disease.
