Run for Lawrence School

Help make a school's cross country dream come true!

Lawrence School is raising money to start a cross-country team in 2007! Help deserving students have fun, stay healthy, and compete in an inclusive sport that is rewarding for all ability levels by sponsoring the Lawrence School "team". Our runners consist of staff, students and friends, and we are covering every distance - from the 10k to the full marathon - in the 2007 Rite-Aid Cleveland Marathon.

Lawrence School is an independent day school serving bright students in Grades 1-12 with learning disabilities and attention deficits. As one of only two schools in the state of Ohio to specifically serve this population, Lawrence draws students from over 70 communities in 10 counties.

Lawrence has recently expanded from a one-campus to a two-campus school with the Lower School (grades 1-6) located in Broadview Heights, and the Upper School (grades 7-12) in Sagamore Hills. As the school expands, so does the need for an athletics program which is consistent with other schools in the Northeast Ohio area.

Funds raised from this event will go towards both the creation of a cross country team as well as towards extracurricular athletic programming for the Lower School (grades 1-6). Any additional funds will be donated to the Capital Campaign for the new Upper School. Make a donation in support of the Lawrence School team, and help make the school’s cross country dream come true!
