| Celebration of Life Run |
|
| My name is Duane Kortman and I am running in the Great Aloha Run on February 19, 2007 to raise money for the Children's Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation. You are probably asking yourself, “What in the World is Neuroblastoma?” Three years ago I would have asked the same question. Unfortunately, my family and I know much more about it than most could imagine. Our daughter Adeline “Addie” was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma at the age of 5 months. With the help of many prayers, wonderful doctors and very supportive family and friends, our tough little girl beat her cancer. Many are not as fortunate as us and we want to help change that.
Neuroblastoma has a 55% survival rate, the lowest of childhood cancers. Help us make a difference and try to raise that number to 100%. Here is your chance to celebrate survival and help find a cure to ensure many more children's lives are saved. |
