Our participation on May 13 is in memory of all of those in our families who have battled with breast cancer. We hope our participation in this great event on Mother's Day brings a little more hope and support to the cause, so we may witness a cure emerge.

Where does it go? From the komen race cure website, Up to 75% of the net proceeds stay in Minnesota. Last year, over $2 million was given to help fund research and screening, education and treatment programs for underserved Minnesota women. Administrative expenses were a low 10 percent of revenue. A significant portion of funds raised also goes directly to the national Susan G. Komen for the Cure Award and Research Grant Programs supporting scientific and educational research programs all over the world.
