| Please join us at Komen Greater Amarillo in reaching our fundraising goal of $15,000 for the 2008 Great Amarillo Race for the Cure. We proudly announce that 75% of the fundraising proceeds will benefit breast cancer research, screening and treatments in the Amarillo and Texas Panhandle Area, while 25% will help fund breast cancer research nationally. This year, we have partnered with the following programs (Komen Grantees): Harrington Cancer Center/Breast Screening Program, American Cancer Society/Breast Prosthesis Program, Moore County Hospital/Breast Screening Program and Girls Scouts of Texas and Oklahoma/Daises in Bloom Education Brunch and finally, Project Hope through Amarillo Area Breast Health Coallition. We promise we will not rest until this race is won. |
