ABOUT KIDSWING
The eighth annual KidSwing Golf Tournament, benefiting Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC), will be held Monday, June 14, 2010, in Dallas, Texas at Brookhaven Country Club.
This kids-only golf tournament was created in 2003 by 11-year-old Ben Sater, a former patient of TSRHC, as a way to give back to the hospital for the medical care he received at no cost to his family. KidSwing is a 9-hole, best-ball scramble for players ages 7 to 18 at all levels of ability. KidSwing is fun for experienced golfers as well as new golfers! There is no entry fee to play in the tournament, but players are encouraged to raise $100 or more for the hospital by asking their family, friends and neighbors to sponsor them. KidSwing players who reach certain fundraising benchmarks will receive exciting prizes! Since KidSwing's inception, KidSwing players have raised more than $802,000 for the hospital. All funds raised by KidSwing players directly benefit the hospital.
