| Keep California Beautiful (KCB), an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, is a nonprofit environmental organization established in 1990. KCB’s mission is to promote individual, community and corporate responsibility for California’s environment. We pursue this mission by promoting source reduction, litter prevention, recycling, and beautification through volunteerism and by developing public/private partnerships at the state level as a way to provide necessary resources to local communities.
By taking the time to make sure your food packaging items and used fluid containers make it into the recycling or trash containers instead of on the course or trail when running you can a make a difference.
Another way to help is create your own personal fundraising page by clicking (become a fundraiser) at the top of the page. This will allow you to upload an image add a message and email family and friends to raise money for our programs. Money raised through our efforts at the event will support the KCB sponsored clean up and beautification events throughout California which occur year-round; but with a focused effort during the spring. |
