| The Kroo Bay Initiative (KBI) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to ensure high-quality, primary-level education in Kroo Bay, Sierra Leone. KBI's immediate focus is to assist the existing school in Kroo Bay, currently the Fuwa Primary School, so it can meet its basic operational needs and expand its educational programs.
SIR's mission is to promote and reward scholarship and service among students and practitioners of international studies, international affairs, and global studies and to foster integrity and creative performance in the conduct of world affairs. It connects students with professionals and hosts workshops and other events to help students achieve academic and career goals. The UNT chapter of Sigma Iota Rho, Gamma Mu, inducted its founding members on November 24th, 2008. |
