| Hi, All! I am lucky enough to be running the Spring Lake Five this Memorial Day. It is the largest five mile race in the country! I am very excited to be waking up bright and early to race for a great cause through beautiful Spring Lake, NJ. I am running to raise money for the JT Foundation for Autism Awareness. Autism is a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life and affects a person’s ability to communicate and interact with others. Autism is defined by a certain set of behaviors and is a "spectrum disorder" that affects individuals differently and to varying degrees. There is no known single cause for autism, but increased awareness and funding can help families today. The JT Foundation for Autism Awareness will donate the money raised for the Spring Lake Five to families and/or individuals who are affected by autism.
My goal is to raise $250. This is a great cause and I hope you can help me meet my goal. Any small amount you can donate would help tremendously. Simply donating five dollars will be greatly appreciated; just think, it's better than spending it on a beer!
