My father Deputy Chief James D'heron of the New Brunswick, NJ Fire Department lost his life on September 3, 2004 responding to a house fire. My father gave his life that day in order to save the lives of others. Everyone in the house made it out alive except for my father. As his daughter, I have taken on the responsibility to continue my father's legacy by starting The James D'heron Memorial Foundation, Inc.
