| The Fifth Annual Jack Dwyer Golf Tournament and Silent Auction is scheduled for June 11, 2007. It will be hosted by Trophy Club Apalachee in Dacula, Georgia. This event is held by the Dwyer Family. It is a tribute to Katherine A. Dwyer who succumbed to lung cancer on December 26, 2000. She was Jack’s wife of 42 years, mother of 7 children, and grandmother of 13. The 2006 JDGT raised $44,000, which brings the five year total to well over $100,000. The Jack Dwyer Golf Tournament and Silent Auction benefits the Georgia Cancer Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the quality of life for cancer patients and their families through education, early detection, and support. |
