| The Christopher Joseph Concha Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. We were founded in 2005 in honor of Christopher J. Concha and all infants like him, who have been or are admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Our mission is to provide support and education to parents with premature children, to raise awareness to the general public about premature births, and to support research into premature related illnesses.
To attain our mission, we deliver gift bags to parents in the NICU across the US bi-annually and help to fund research into premature related illnesses, specifically Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC). In addition, we host several events throughout the year as well as distribute a quarterly newsletter to spread awareness about premature birth. In the future we hope to implement programs that will help support the needs of NICU families.
