| Started in JUNE 2005, Hrudaya Cure a Little Heart Foundation was founded to comprehensively deal with the scourge of heart disease in poor children of India.
In India each year about 121,000 cases of CHD cases reach the age of 15 years due to lack of health awareness, poverty and inadequate healthcare facilities which is shocking. This startling revelation was given by Dr. Gopichand Mannam, a leading pediatric heart surgeon.
The objectives of the foundation are:
1. To raise funds to provide modern medical care to poor children with congenital and acquired heart diseases across India.
2. To provide complete funding for all aspects of preoperative, surgical and post operative care to every sick child that needs it.
3. To increase awareness and educate the public on the causes, prevention, and eradication of child heart diseases. |
