This summer I will join the Hopkins 4K for Cancer team. The team is comprised of 25 riders from different universities. Together we will bike 4,000 miles across the country. Our goal is to educate communities about cancer awareness and prevention, as well as foster hope for those affected by cancer.
This year our team has pledged to donate at least $45,000 to the Baltimore Hope Lodge. The Baltimore Hope Lodge is a home away from home for patients receiving outpatient cancer treatment. We also have pledged to donate at least $15,000 to the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center's outreach and education programs.
