Hiking for the Cure

Thanks for coming to my page! This is a wonderful program and has been an amazing and inspiring experience thus far. I really want to raise as much money as I can because I think that this is so important. I have met victims first hand and listened to describe their personal struggles. I also have many teammates who have been personally affected, some with family members currently undergoing treatment, as well as Donaovan who is one my teammates who was diagnosed five months ago. It is really motivational to see how even a small donation can really help these people. Hike For Discovery is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's adventure fundraising program that prepares people to experience a natural wonder in a special way. While I'm training, I'm raising funds to help the Society cure leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. More than 712,000 Americans are battling these blood cancers. Your support of my participation in Hike For Discovery will help bring them hope and support.
