Lets do it again in 2007!
On November 8, 2006, at the age of 34 my dear friend Hydeus Kiatta passed away from Cancer. Her passing has inspired me to once again take part in a grand event to help raise money for Cancer research. This time I am starting at 4:am, 7,000 feet above sea level at the Grand Canyon for a day long hike.
My training will begin on February 3rd and the event is the weekend of May 17 through the 20th. Now is the time if you would like to make your yearly tax deductible donation. If you prefer to write a check, please make it payable to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS) and contact me directly for a mailing address. My goal this time is $4,000 by April 15th.
For the last three years you have all helped me raise money for my various charities, The Leukemia Lymphoma Society, The Arthritis Foundation and Food on Foot. Thanks to you, we have all been able to make a change in someone's life. I ask that this year be no different; except for this year I will have an angel on my shoulder named Hydeus.
Many thanks and remember life is too short to wait for tomorrow!
