My Blisters for Your Bucks

I'll be here June 2 remembering Jan, Elijah, and all others fighting blood cancers. Please help!

I have pledged to raise $8500 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in memory of my sister, Jan Caley, who died of Hodgkins Disease in 2006, and also in honor of 8-year old Elijah Cox, who is battling leukemia.

To raise money to research for the cure, I am training to hike the Grand Canyon this June. Please help me in the "discovery" of a cure. I'm middle-aged,out of shape, and my knees hurt,, but I WILL complete this hike!I am hiking for the sake of my sister Jan, whose memory and courage will go with me. I am also hiking for 8-year old Elijah Cox, who still has the hope of a strong, healthy future as new treatments, and a cure, are found,

I am also wearing ribbons in honor or in memory of those who have fought leukemia, lymphoma, other cancers or chronic diseases. I am wearing 25 ribbons so far. Here is my roll of honor: Jan Caley, Pauline Lewandowski, Elizabeth Lenzi, JoAn Young, Donna Cohen, Gwyn Dyke, Ellen Lewis, Margaret Harwick, Mary Agnes Robinson, A B Ware, David Wilson, Erika Shapiro, Phyleicia Wilson, Parker Cantrell, Donald Whitt, Barry Rosovsky, Bill Campbell, Lynne Jackson, Jack White, Katie Peak,Willard Efaw, Ken Efaw, Chris Martin, Jonathan Austin, and Elijah Cox. This is a small way for me to honor my donors, as well as those who have fought their own battles. If there is anyone else you would like for me to honor, please let me know.
