| Thank you for your interest in supporting Hannah More School! We depend on the contributions of generous donors to provide our students with the kinds of services they deserve since tuition payments do not cover all of our costs. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
ANNUAL FUND
Our Annual Fund is an important source of funds for our school. To make a contribution by credit card to our 2009-2010 Campaign, please use the "Make a Contribution Box" and follow the instructions. Please make your gift by June 30 so it can be counted towards this year's goal.
MATCHING GIFTS
If you work for a company that matches gifts to charitable organizations, your donation can go even further!
Many companies will match your gift to Hannah More School. If you or your spouse work for, or are retired from, a company that has a matching gift program, check with the personnel or human resources office for a matching gift form.
BEQUESTS
A bequest is one of the most common types of deferred planned gifts. Making a bequest gift to Hannah More involves including the following text in your will:
"I give and devise to Hannah More School Foundation, 12039 Reisterstown Rd., Reisterstown, MD, tax ID # 52-1942182, all (or you may state a percentage or exact amount) of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both real and personal, to be held, administered, and used by the Board of Trustees for the unrestricted support of Hannah More School."
If you wish, you may designate that the bequest be used for a specific purpose, such as endowment, or for a specific area of the school such as the horticulture program, etc. For an endowment gift, the principal remains intact and only the interest is expended to be used for school programs.
MEMORIAL OR HONOR GIFTS
To make a memorial or honor gift, please send your gift to the school at the address below, along with the name of the person being honored or memorialized. With your gift please include contact information (full name and address) for the person's family (in case of a memorial gift) or the person being honored (in case of an honorary gift), as notification regarding the gift (excluding the amount) will be sent. OTHER WAYS TO HELP HANNAH MORE SCHOOL
Office Depot 5% Back to Schools Program: Help us earn free supplies through Office Depot. Every time you shop at Office Depot, remember to give our school ID# which is 70047197. Our school will earn credits equal to 5% of your qualifying school supply purchases to use for free supplies. You can credit the school year round.
Giant Food Bonus Card A+ Bonus Bucks program: Designate Hannah More School on-line at www.giantfood.com or in any store. Our School ID # is 01171. Each time you make a purchase using your Giant Food Bonus Card, our school earns points. These points translate into dollars for our school and help us purchase supplies and other items for our students. You must redesignate our school each year (usually in August). Check the web site for more information and updates about the program.
Food Lion "Shop & Share" Program
If you have a Food Lion MVP Card (similar to a Giant Bonus card) visit the web site below to link your card to HMS so we will receive donations based on your purchases at the store.

Target Stores Take Charge of Education program: If you shop at Target you can help Hannah More School. Use a Target VISA or a Target Guest Card (their in-store only credit card) and they will donate an amount equal to 1% of the Target store purchases to Hannah More School; or use a Target VISA at other stores and they will donate ½% of purchases to our school. Our ID # is 8015. Apply on-line at www.Target.com or in person at any Target store. Since we enrolled in this program, close to $2,100 has been donated to our school (through August 2009). Funds raised support our Mini-Grants program and are used for special student activities. Thank you!
Online Shopping through OneCause.com:
We are now registered with OneCause.com. To support our school, simply register at www.onecause.com and select our school as the beneficiary of your shopping rebates. On a quarterly basis, we will receive donations based on the amount of sales. Funds raised will support school projects.
