Grassroot Soccer NYC Marathon Team

Giving HIV the Red Card: 26 miles. 45 runners. 8,000 Lives.

We have the best marathon team out there- not only are they wicked fast and good looking- they're saving lives with every step!

At Grassroot Soccer we see a world mobilized through soccer to create an HIV-free generation. Our mission is to educate, inspire and mobilize youth to stop the spread of HIV. By 2014, GRS plans to reach 1 million youth with life-saving education. To date we have graduated 314,045 girls and boys from our programs globally.

The GRS Marathon Team's goal is to educate 8,000 more youth by raising $200,000 by December 1, 2010. You can help them smash this goal because it only takes $25 to provide effective HIV-prevention to one youth.
