| Our mission is to provide affordable and accessible after school programs for 3rd-8th grade girls that prepare them for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. This 2012 season we have over 1200 girls running, walking and skipping their way through our 10 week program, preparing them to complete our Girls on the Run 5k in Vasona Park on May 19th!
As a non-profit, volunteer-based organization, our success and the ability to offer scholarships depends on the generosity of others and we would like to thank you for supporting our Girls on the Run of Silicon Valley "Run for a Reason" fundraiser!
