| Goodyear Little League (GYLL) is a chartered Little League serving your community. We serve the fast growing City of Goodyear, Arizona and include players from the Litchfield Elementary, Avondale Elementary, Liberty Elementary, Agua Fria Union, and Buckeye Union School Districts.
On average, we have over 500 children ages 5-17 who register to play Little League baseball and softball. We are proud to be one of the largest Little League’s in western Maricopa County. GYLL is designed as an educational organization for these children. We strive for our players to learn the value of teamwork, sportsmanship, rules of play, and leadership to help develop them into tomorrow’s leaders and good citizens in our community.
We enter our 2008 season as the defending Arizona State Champion 9-10 Year Olds Baseball All-Stars! We are proud of all of our players and look for more great things from them achieving success as a team. However, despite these successes, we cannot operate our League without sponsors like you.
GYLL operates using sponsorships and fundraising from the local business community. Sponsorship is a necessity as it is a major source that allows GYLL to continue to operate and serve the children of our community. The sponsorship money received by the League helps offset the cost of uniforms, League charter fees, player insurance, safety items such as breakaway bases, league operations, and All-Stars fees. These expenses are significant and sponsors help keep fees affordable for our players and their families.
The purpose of this letter is to ask you and/or your business to consider becoming a sponsor for this year’s season. Attached you will find a description of sponsorship levels (Single, Double, Triple, Home Run, and Grand Slam levels) and benefits of becoming a GYLL sponsor, along with a sponsorship form. GYLL is a part of Little League Baseball, Incorporated’s 501(c) (3) where your sponsorship funds may be tax deductible (please consult your tax advisor).
