Thank you for your interest in Good Samaritan Hunger Center (GSHC). GSHC was the vision of Sister Jordan Hadad and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in May of 1982. We continue to serve the needs of the hungry in Akron and surrounding communities and at GSHC hunger is not an option.
Good Samaritan Hunger Center provides nutritious, delicious, hot meals & grocery bags of food to community centers in Akron area neighborhoods. The hot meals are served in a spirit of encouragement & hospitality to anyone who comes.
