| Dear Friend,
There comes a time in life when it’s time to give back and make a difference… that time has come for me (once again).
While attending the Kick-Off for the Man and Woman of the Year Campaign benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, I was introduced to two amazing young people: Natalie LeRaybaud, 7 and Mateo Franco, 9, both of whom have been diagnosed with leukemia. Natalie and Mateo have been designated as this year’s Boy & Girl of the Year for the Society’s Greater Los Angeles Chapter; meeting them really touched me. When asked if I would consider being part of a spirited competition called “Man & Woman of the Year” I accepted because I was truly inspired by them. I want to do what I can to make a difference and improve the quality of life for patients and their families by raising money to fund research and patient support services.
Today, I am asking you to help me in this fight against cancer by supporting my Woman of the Year campaign with a donation in any amount that makes you feel great!
Your contributions are tax deductible and will make all the difference in someone’s life; these kids’ courage deserves our support. Feel free to forward this information to any of your friends and family whom you feel would want to participate in the fight against cancer.
I am also looking for items and services for the auction and silent auction… so please let me know if there is anything you would like to donate.
I don’t want to overwhelm you with too much information, but if you have any questions email me at nanou@nanoudesigns.com or call me at 310.497.9849.
I am dedicating my Woman of the Year campaign to my father who lost his battle to cancer.
Thank you very much for all of your support, wishing you the best of health.
Sincerely yours,
Nanou |
