| The Red Lodge Friends of the Library was organized to help preserve and strengthen the Red Lodge Carnegie Library and to create additional awareness and appreciation of library services. Donations in past years have enabled us to help maintain the library's computers; continue the children's outreach program; to puchase more new books, audio books and DVDs for adults, teens and children; and to sponsor many special programs in the library. In this time of tightening governmental budgets, libraries are hard hit. Funds donated to the Friends of the Library are used to augment the needs of the library which are beyond the city and county budgets |
