| Hello, and thank you for your interest in the Montour County Friends of recreation group.
With the money raised from this drive, we hope to purchase stone to improve the surface of the J. Manley Robbins trail path. The Robbins trail is the site of our Robbins 5K & 10K run and the Oldest example of a rail to trail in the Country.
The "friends of Montour County recreation" are the people, (often the silent people) behind the idea that recreation is part of any healthy community. As a member of "Friends of recreation" you will be added to our mailing list and updated periodically in regard to the state of recreation in Montour County. The "Friends of" group is always looking for new members.
As a member and contributer you can select to be as active or inactive in the organization as you like.
Membership does have it's rewards in the way of discounts on events and activities in Montour County. You may also receive discounts to area busines and hotels if you plan to visit the area.
All visiting members are treated to a free visitors pass to our Danville Area Community Center. The DACC offers an olympic sized indoor heated pool, weight room, babysitting, full sized gym, racketball and much more.
