| Latinitas is hosting its 3rd Annual Fotos de Mi Alma event at the Mexican American Cultural Center on Thurs., April 16, 6-8:30pm.
"Latino-themed" photography donated by professionals, amateurs and students will be sold at silent auction to benefit Latinitas' 25 after school programs that empower young Latinas with media and technology.
Last year's art included pieces by National Geographic photographer Skip Hunt and Texas Monthly photo-journalist - Bear Guerra and this year Latinitas is presenting the featured photography of internationally acclaimed photo-journalist Donna DeCesare and has invited former Sen. Gonzalo Barrientos as event honorary chair. |
