| SAVINGS LIVES THRU SPAY/NEUTER & EDUCATION.
Even though I am President of Friends of Long Beach Animals, every year I am unable to collect pledges because I have severe arthritis and am unable to walk at our own event. This year through Active Giving I am asking and depending on animal advocates to help me reach my personal goal of $5,000. This money will enable Friends of Long Beach Animals (1) to help more injured, sick and suffering animals at Long Beach Animal Control; (2) to expand FOLBA's SNIP (spay/neuter) program; (3) to provide Humane Education classes; and (4) to send needy children to a local pet camp in the summer to learn respect and kindness towards animals.
