| Hello!
My name is Chris Bowman. I am a 32 year old, married, father of 1. I was born with Amniotic Band Syndrome. It can effect babies in many different ways but for me I lost my lower right leg, parts of five fingers, a cleft lip, cleft pallate, and a clubbed left foot. I grew up feeling I could accomplish anything but I also felt like I was the only one like me. I discovered that I have a gift that I can give people who are in a similar situation. That gift is hope and inspiration. With the help of my bicycle, and my ink pen I plan to raise money and awareness for those families dealing with Amniotic Band Syndrome and other Fetal Distress Disorders. Together with the Fetal Hope Foundation I am planning a May of 2010 ride from my home in Michigan to Oregon. The 2400 mile trip should take 50 days to complete. I am hoping to film my journey for use later as a documentary on how to passionately achieve what ever goals you have! With your help I can share my story with the families and people that need it most. No parent should ever feel their child cant have a normal life because of a physical or mental disability, and no child should ever feel confined to the fate they were born with. The hope and inspiration we can provide can set these families back on the path to their dreams and goals! Won't you please consider a small donation to help?
If you would like to send a check rather than donate online please send it to "Fetal Hope Foundation" and mail to: Fetal Hope Foundation, 9786 S. Holland St., Littleton, CO 80127
Just put on there somewhere that its for the 2010 Bike Ride.
Thank you so much and if you see me riding by give me a wave!! :) See ya on the road!

| Fetal distress and syndromes affect 800,000 pregnancies per year in the US alone. This is four times the amount of cases per year as breast cancer.
We lose more than 200 babies a day to fetal distresses and syndromes.
With your donation, we can make a difference in bringing hope and changing lives.
