| Our twin daughters Lydia and Camryn were born nearly three months premature at 27 weeks gestation due to complications from Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS). At birth they weighed just 2lb. and 1lb. 9oz. respectively. The girls were released from the hospital a couple days after their two month birthday. As we approach their 1st birthday they weigh a little over 17 pounds each and are doing exceptionally well.
We owe a lot to our perinatologists, the NICU staff, as well as the Fetal Hope Foundation for providing us such a thorough amount of knowledge about TTTS. The information we received allowed us to become educated about this syndrome that abruptly took over our lives. Thank you in advance for helping us support this very important cause! |
