| The Fast & The Furriest (TM) 10K Race and 1-Mile Dog Walk is one of our two major fundraisers. We rely on these annual events to raise money to help support the Animal Services Center. Proceeds from the event go to the Verona Street Animal Society (VSAS) the not-for-profit organization that was established to help support Animal Services. The VSAS uses the funds raised to purchase veterinary supplies and pet care products to improve the care for animals at the shelter. Funds are also used to purchase supplies for the spay/neuter clinic or to pay for actual spay or neuter surgeries. The VSAS also assists Animal Services through various promotional campaigns. |
