2009 Donate Life Family Fun Run

Live. Give. Run.

The 2009 Donate Life Family Fun Run is a non-competitive 5K run and 1K walk to raise awareness for organ, eye and tissue donation. Proceeds benefit The Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland and Team Maryland, a group of transplant recipients who compete in the U.S. Transplant Games presented biennially by the National Kidney Foundation.

Teaming Up for Life
Creating a team is a great way to participate in the 2009 Donate Life Family Fun Run. So, round up everyone you know, think of a catchy name and get ready to join in the fun on May 30th! Many teams run/walk in honor of a loved one who became an organ, eye or tissue donor.

Teams with 25+ members and raise more than $1,000 (in addition to the registration fee) will receive 2009 Donate Life Family Fun Run hats. Additional prizes will be awarded to the team with the most pledges, the individual with the most pledges and the team with the most team members.

T-shirts for teams registered by April 15, 2009 will be available by May 1 for pick-up. Teams are encouraged to customize the back of the t-shirts to honor and remember their loved one, their donor or promote donation.
